Here is a close up of the tubes and of both wood parts that I rounded with much pain and efforts...

An aluminium tube is used to attach both parts of the paddle together.

I wish I had a place like that to work in, but this is not mine

It is now time to start the paddles, made from white cedar from Abitibi and red cedar from the West. On this picture both paddles are side to side while I wait for the glue to dry.

I did not choose the color of the floor, I just rent this appartement...
